    Cyan pads are in

Got home yesterday and saw a PBMG box, love seeing them
Anyway , I opened the box and sure enough, my Cyan pads arrived.
Can wait to try them today, I'll first use them on a black GMC.

I'll write a review later after I do a couple of vehicles.
I'm sure they'll work fine, Mike Phillips seems to like them.

If you're talking about the Hydrotech pads, I believe they are similar to the LC flat Orange pads.

They're actually closer to the yellow, but are supposed to finish out a lot nicer.

I hope you like them! I have yet to meet a pad I didn't like - from any manufacturer. I used the ccs a lot last sseason. I received a half dozen cyan hydrotechs a few weeks ago, and so far, they're fine. Granted I've only done some test spots with the pc, but I'm anxious to put them through their paces.

What pads do you normally use?

    Re: Cyan pads are in

I found a post on autopia by Todd Helme comparing the Hydros to the CCS pads..

"The Cyan pad has the same equivalent cut as the yellow pad, the Tangerine is a hair below the orange but above white, and the Crimson pad is slightly below the white pad but more aggressive than the gray pad."

And here's a chart he put together...

    Re: Cyan pads are in

I have a couple Cyans but haven't had a change to have at them as yet. I have a few spot places I think I may have a need thou. To date I've only needed a tangerine/205 combo (great in my limited experience with pad/product) to get my work done on my hood.

    Looking forward to your review....

These sound interesting. I have been using the uber pads from Detailers domain, so it appears the cyan will be between an uber orange & yellow.

The Cyan should be very similar to their yellow pad.
