    plastic care

303, Klasse Leather/Vinyl.., or 3M vinyl restorer. Of these, which provides best protection? Which is most durable? Is it better to use two dedicated products or will a good combo formula actually work? Have tried many OTC goops, but still can't get the dash, seats and interior trim as clean and sheen as I'd like.Cost and ease of application are secondary considerations. Chime in Pros and fanatics; all Geek opinions sought.

I really like Meguiar's #40. It cleans the plastic pieces and leaves a nice finish- dry to the touch as well. If I get to a very dirty piece, I'll wipe it down with a woolite:water (6:1 mix) and then top with #40 or PB Natural look.

I am in love with 303... The great matt finish is why it gets the nod from me.

I always clean my vinyl pieces with 1 part Woolite to 10 parts water. I put that in a wash bucket and wash the vinyl with a kitchen sponge and then immediately rinse with clean water and dry with a MF. After all the pieces are clean and dry, I go over them with Pinnacle's vinyl and rubber protectant. This is my favorite one and it smells so nice too. I use a terry cloth applicator and spray the protectant onto the applicator then I wipe it onto all of the vinyl pieces. After all the pieces have been treated, I go back to where I first started applying it and then buff of the residues with a clean dry MF. Bliss.

This is what I do on an interior detail. For maintenance I just use a clean dry MF to wipe off the dust or Meguiar's quick interior detail spray if needed for fingerprints.

    Works for me.

303 is one of the few that offers the best in sun protectants.
