    Porsche Boxster coated with PBL

Finally had the time to get out and detail the car. After a test spot found that Blackfire SRC Finishing Polish and a white CCS pad were all that would be needed to remove the swirls from the paint.

The paint was in decent condition but swirled throughout, thankfully not too deep though. I found the Blackfire polish to be very easy to work with and it did not dust too much at all. The paint finished out very nicely and looks as it should finally, swirl free! A couple RIDS but they can stay, its a daily driver so perfection is not required and I would rather save some clear coat.

Followed the Blackfire with some Pinnacle Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish which was very easy to apply and remove. Once properly prepped I applied some Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Surface Coating to the paint, lights, and glass.

While polishing I had a fly buzzing around by my face and as I went to swish it away I swished my bottle of Blackfire polish and broke the cap and spilled half the bottle contents onto the ground. Not the smartest thing I've done but I'm sure it won't be the last time either. At least it wasn't the PBL coating bottle!

Superior job well done I also like how you added a black and white photo of your work too though I am sorry to hear about your spillage I would suggest to place all your products in a bucket or crate on a tarp when using them

Great work! That looks very properly detailed. From your pictures, I cannot choose one I think is better. The black and white demonstrates full color from your angle, nice skill.

I'm totally in for finishing polish plus coatings procedures, probably what I like most doing when detailing, thus enjoyed a lot your thread. Congratulations on your work.

A little about spillage, ow man, that will happen to you once, I bet, never more.

It happened to me as well. I've received a bottle of product (ordered in Brazil) which came with some leakage.

Minor leakage, I've contacted seller, they was sending replacement even though I told them it was not needed because of minor leakage. Just after solving things up with store, I accidentally 'tapped' the bottle and it 'exploded' on the floor ahahhaha

This happened the same day I've received PBL coating from AG, and I thought the same you wrote above!: 'At least it wasn't the PBL coating bottle!'

Luckily vendor was sending me a replacement, unfortunately it was not your case with this precious polish.

Have you tried to dab the pad on the floor to prime the pad?! Honestly!? ahhaha

    Thanks for this thread,

    Kind Regards.

    Thanks for the comments!

You can see the spilled amount of polish in one of the reflection shots, that nice ugly grey spot in the reflection of the driver door.
