polish upgrades
What appreciable difference will I notice going from Poorby's to Menzerna? Also, how best can I incorporate my remaining XMT polishes (4-1) among them to use them completely? Must use the PC with Edge pads until I get a rotary next year.

well I wouldn't upgrade until you use all your existing polishes. Menz seems to be top of the line for results. Needing only 3 instead of a 1-4. Powergloss compound, Super Intesive Polish and the 106ff. But they do cost alot more then PB or XMT.

Expect to deplete most of the XMT this month on other vehicles. Want to be ready with new polishes for my winter prep detail. Cost/benefit is good compared to a new machine.

I dumped PB for XMT, and recently XMT for Menzerna. IMO, Menzerna is 100x better then both. Im still looking for a back up polish when Menz is acting up. Leaning towards Megs 80 series.

Menzerna is great, but as Dan say, nice having a back up if its beeing gummy etc, but the 106FF seems to work pretty good nomatter what and how the temp/weather is...But by having feks the MG #83 or 84 in the shelves, your pretty sett imo...

Thanks, guys. Now must decide whether to get the intro kit with Intensive Polish 91E & Final Polish 85U or buy the Nano 106FF & SIP 88Q separately. Do not want buyer's regret if the 106FF truly is as outstanding as I've read here lately. I'll be using the PC with Edge pads if that makes much of a difference. Does it?

The thing is that 91E & 85U are half the price of SIP and 106FF, I don't know if the results obtained with SIP and 106FF are double the good.

While all the polishes offered are nice offerings, Menzerna is the elite to date. I am experimenting with Einszett (black bottles) now, and so far dont feel that there is a big enough difference. I would probably grab them over SSR's and XMT personally, but time will tell. Menzerna is a long proven winner especially 106FF and 085rd.
