Finally got the time to clean him up! (lotsa pics :D)

First, let me say that I LOVE TORNADO RED! Hides dirt so well!

There now that that's out of the system, I took a few before and after pics. As I said above it was kinda hard to see the dirt so I really got in there with the lens so hopefully those pictures turn out. Didn't get to clean the wheels well as I ran out of cleaner after the first wheel. And my stamina ran out so the interior comes monday.

    Before:

Does anyone know what the hell this is, sometimes its this shape or similar other times the crap is just little dots that show up on the paint.

    After:

Ludacris post I know, but this is the first time I put pics up so I'm rather excited

Pictures are always welcome. What was your method? Just a wash, wash-n-wax, wash and polish? Fill us in! Car looks great though!

I guess I forgot the details

    Products used:
    GG Car Wash Solution
    GG Paint Cleaning Clay
    GG Speed Shine
    GG Best in Show Wax
    GG Spray Wax
Cobra MF (misc, guzzler, indigo etc)
    Stoner Invisible Glass

    Misc Items:
Craftsman air compressor (the new GTI SWALLOWS water in the doors and mirror housings)

    2 5-gal buckets with grit-guards
2 MF mitts from GG (I dropped one)
Boars Hair brush on wand for the lowers.

I live real close to the GG headquarters and wanted to give their products a run. The car wash was pretty good, still like my pinnacle and wolfgang. Clay and QD were very nice with a pleasant scent. Best in show wax, for being only one coat gives quite a nice wet look and was very easy to put on and come off of the paint. For the few times I missed a spot of wax when buffing, the spray wax did the trick really quick. Smells like banana's, delicious. Everything was done by hand, I dropped my PC and no longer works. I feel like Arnold right now my arms feel like I just did 200 push-ups

Cool. What's your opinion about Griot's Garage products?

NICE! I have a Tornado Red MKVI also. AND I'll be using the Griot's products it soon. It's nice to see how it's gonna turn out.

I get those orange/yellow greasy spots on my hood. I have no clue what it is.

That's odd, I thought all cars were female?!

To the best of my knowledge it is honey bee excrement. Read all about it here.

    Honey Bee Excrement

I live in SoCal and it shows up on all my cars. Particularly if they are parked outdoors often.

And you thought detailing was easy huh? LOL

When you spend several hours detailing a car you work hard, there's no way around it. Keeping fuel in the furnace will help keep you going!

Great job on the car and nice photos too!
