DQUARTZ – Auto Car Wash Ultimate Endurance Test
DQUARTZ – Auto Car Wash Ultimate Endurance Test - YouTube
How we did the test:
1. Audi A4 B6 was fully polished before application of DQUARTZ.
2. 2 layers of DQ were applied to half of the bonnet.
3. Other half was left completely unprotected, freshly polished.
4. Car was not driven between the application and car wash visit.
5. Inspection was recorded immediately after the wash, no additional work was done, no products were used. Tape was initially stuck on to highlight the coated/non-coated boundary, later removed for better visual effect.
6. Editing was kept to only the bare essentials, so you can see the fullest real result.

Can’t call it “ultimate” if the didn’t set it on fire! Looks impressive.

Neither side looks very good to me.
The only difference I can see is a few more straight-line scratches from the car wash brushes on the uncoated side. So maybe it will protect from minor wash-induced marring going forward, but then again, were they there before the car wash? They never showed the before condition prior to the wash.

The muscle milk comment was a poke at a different coating test where the "milk' basically stripped the coating. I can't remember what product they were testing though.
