Re: Engine Detailing 2013 Honda Accord
Looks good👍🏽 Same way I choose to do it. Like you said, it may not be perfect, but it sure beats running the risk of ending up like that Cadillac [in Vanevs' post] that ended up needing 3k to repair the electrical system after some noob power washed it.
I like to do this at the gas station. After filling the tank, I pop the hood, check the oil, then pull out my bottle of Hyper Dressing and use up all the free paper towels that I need to wipedown under the hood

My car is only 3 years old and has no fluid leaks, so there was no grease or gunk buildup under the hood anywhere. It was just dirty from spray from driving in the rain.
If there were any grease buildups, I would have concentrated a degreaser or engine cleaner on that specific area, and then hosed that off, rather than spray the whole engine down.

Thanks for sharing...admittedly I have gotten lazy over the years when it comes to engine detailing. I think your post was a sign that I need to kick it into gear.

I detailed this before a week or so. It was extensive engine detail, there was some kind of gas leak, some 3 hours work on engine detailing.

Nice work. Id rather spend 20 minutes once every often and have it look half as good as above then spend 3 hours. Nice job!
