Wow, great depth as highlighted by the cloud's reflections in the paint. Looks great!

Just motivated me to correct me car.

In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

I actually get a lot of compliments on this car. It's the first year of the retro-redesign (2005), and it's has red leather interior. Great combination. I'm always asked if I want to sell the car. It sounds as healthy as it looks, with a Borla ATAK Cat-Back exhaust.

With all that said, I love the new ones. One thing I remind folks is the Mustang was named after the P-51 Mustang, not the horse. The new one is more true to it's roots as a car fashioned after a fighter plane than ever in it's history. Just one look at the 2015's and you can see the aeronautical queues. I love them all!

Wow that looks great! You did the whole car with 4" pads? That's commitment. No wonder it was late in the day.

    Thanks!!!

Compounding was done on a different day, I broke the work up, but yesterday was polish and then coating prep. I like working with the 4" pads on this car because of the body curves and I can get into the tight spots. The c-curve on the body side is tough to work with of you're using 6". Same with the raised sections on the hood. The trunk is short, so again the 4" is better. Plus I can work smaller sections. I don't have to contend with a roof so that saves a lot of time.

Have a PC 7424xp, I'd waist a lot of time changing backing plates, so it's just easier to change out pads as required, but keep them the same size.

all is now well in the universe. Chin spoiler back on, red mustang registry sticker back on....

Also spent about an hour with q-tips and foam pads on sticks with some solution black getting every honeycomb of the grill... Won't do that again!
