Don't see many on the forums when I searched. This will be the placeholder for my experience with this beautiful car and the full detail it needs and deserves.

Overall condition of the car is not that bad. A few minor imperfections that I will take pics of before the AIO application. Customer and I decided a coating isnt right at this time (has some paint work he wants done) so it will probably get a application of Pinnacle Souvern or Collinite 476






















Any input is MORE THAN WELCOME! Tips tricks etc. I dont know a bunch about these cars and am looking forward to spending a couple days getting to know her!!!!!!

Dad had one of these, brand new, in red. Nothing like the sound and pull of that V12. Gas mileage?? Don't ask!

Did about an hour and a half today after work to get the wash/decon part done. Going to polish tomorrow AM after my workout.

Im going to use Menz SF4000 or Meguiars UP. I would like to use my new Megs thin pads too. We will see what works best

These are probably the most expensive wheels I will ever work on. I hope not but MAN do they make me nervous. I havent cleaned them other than foamed with car and iron-x. That will come later.

It's really hard to believe that Jaguar kept that design around for 21 years.

Agreed that that V12 has to sing very nicely! Very cool ride indeed! Can't wait to see the finished product!

OK here she is all finished.

The wheels were a 3.5 hour ordeal. He wanted me to take the lugs off and get the rust off of them too. While I was at it in the front I painted his calipers, and sealed all 4 with Hydro2

Decon: IronX, Sonus Ultrafine Clay, ONR Clay lube
Polish: Menz SF4000
Wax: Pinnacle Liquid Souveran
Carpets: Meguiar's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner foam
Interior: Chemical Guys Nonsense, Meguiars HD 2:1
Leather: Leatherique system
Glass: Meguiar's Perfect Clarity spray
Exterior Trim: Blackfire Trim Sealant
Exterior Chrome & Wheels: P21S, Steel wool, Hydro2
Engine: 3D Yellow, Ultima WW+ (No water in fear of the electronics in the car), and Meguiar's HD 2:1

I love it. And V12 gas mileage, who cares? Just listen to that engine go.

It was very cool watching/listening to it go! I enjoyed my time with it and look forward to the maintenance washes.
