    2004 Ford Focus.

Did this for my sister. The car hasn't been properly washed for about 1.5years. The car's got 31 000kms on the meter.

I picked up the car at night, and went for a wash at a carwash (I only used the hot water high pressure cleaner). That's why the before shots are so bad. I also forgot to take a after shot of the engine. Aaand I forgot before shots of the interior.

The plan was: Wash - Paintcleaner - Polish - Seal.
But after a while I figured that I could skip the polish.

    The products I used was:
    Wash:
Some cheap degreaser.. (The only thing I had)
    Meguiar's NXT Car Wash
    Meguiar's Quick Clay

    Wheels:
    Meguiar's All Wheel Cleaner
    Meguiar's Insane Tire Shine

    Bodywork:
Meguiar's Clear Coat Body Scrub done with yellow pads.
    Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant

Meguiar's Natural Rubber Shine for dressing black plastics.

    Here's the befores....

After degreaser and foam wash (only high pressure)

    Then.. The afters...

I love the smell of the Wolfgang! Mmmm.. Banana..

    Got a little secret for ya'll.... :P

Yeah.. The surface was multicolored! :P

In fact.. My sister lives 1km from a crematorium(I think that's the word for the place where they cremate peole) and the smoke drops from the sky and makes a greasy layer on the car...

So I guess I was washing off dead bodies...... :/

klumzypinoy: Truls is right. I really like the Body Scrub. It removes oxidations, scratches and swirls. It's easy to use and gives a nice result.
But I haven't really used other products than the basic Meguiar's products.

One last thing... You know what? The wheel wells were carpeted!! I've never seen that..... :S
