So this truck never had the brake calipers clean! I just used iron-x, soap and a brush here are some pics! I put a coating on them but I don't know how they will hold up any ideas??

You should paint them with high temperature paint. It's available in many colors in rattle cans at most car product stores.

What a great idea, never though of using Iron X on calipers! I'll try the same thing, as I'm going to paint mine shortly. thanks!

Looks good. Permanon or Hydro 2. Then hit the wheels & calipers every few months. Works for me. Been doing it a few years now.

Great job. Coating won't hold up to break temps. High Temp Paint
