Ψ Custom 1980 GMC Chevy Truck ↯ Matte Black Death † Hardcore Detailing by ⇒ Sharkpolitur
It's not a crime to detail cars for the organized crime . BTW they pay much more than some suit & tie coated businessmen, lawyer, doctor
They either like you & if so they trust you , so after you name them a price for the work they always think it's a very good deal, also they got no knowledge about detailing , products, process etc. if you are crazy, you can wash their cars with water, polish, wax with microfiber plus few drops of liquid detailer without going to real detailing process, just make everything wet around, the more water is around the car, the better work they will think you did...
Also they don't check the results, they just pay ca$h, say some joke & leave. I think because it's not their field of interest or knowledge, so they shy to ask anything. I showed Chevy boss my leather luggage full of detailing products, he didn't even take a look.
Here I used matt shampoo, matt insect remover, matt spray wax, matt nano wax plus very good products for chrome, wheels, interior, wood...
It was a pleasure to detail few cars & bikes for this organization.
They got more to bring, I am alive & well & looking forward into the future with optimism.
This was full of blood spots and some cocaine, probably here they transport dead bodies & other goods.
I had a dream after detailing this truck
The tips were enough to have a sea food lunch for two in the Old Port of Tel-Aviv, I hope I didn't risk my life.

Because of who your "client" is, i wouldn't really want to tell him his "cowl induction" is mounted backwards!
Nice work and a well deserved reward!

I thought the same, I have to wonder if there is even a hole in the hood for it.

Before I was neutral about matte paint, but it has many advantages over let's say metallic (scratch resistant, nano paint or 1K - 2K paint).
If taken care properly it also shines only matte, more masculine.
And you don't need to polish it (matte paint can only be waxed & washed with special products that leave matt finish). Such things like colour restorer, cutting, polish doesn't exist.
This is very easy, wash & wax & it will look like new each time. No scratches, no holograms, no swirls, no problem.
Regarding matte car wraps I think it's a crap, junk, garbage as the quality of matte wrap can't be compared with matte paint same as any other car wrap including clear is a total sewage, my opinion.
Sharkpolitur here use Autosol Matt Paintwork products, I buy it in Germany same as many other car care products from this Solingen brand established in 1929.
I am a big fan of Autosol but not only, altogether probably there are 30+- different car care companies I work with, never was a victim of adverts, promises, miracles, videos, demonstrations, shows, exhibitions...I think that every car care polish/wax/glaze/sealant/shampoo etc. if it's being made by the company with history must be of a very good quality, you have seen probably in my previous posts that I don't mind to use wax made in the 70's, 80's.
There are so many slogans about this or that detailing product that it's crazy, some people when buy a very expensive car or a house decide in less time than some of the car care specialist here decide before they buy a 20$ wax.
Believe me if you want, it's all almost the same. If you stick to Autogeek shop I think there is no need to look somewhere else, because people who work here & sell car care products will not cheat you, will not sell you cat in the bag. You might ask why I recommend Autogeek & myself use Autosol? Send me any matte shampoo or wax sold here, next matte car I will detail with your gift, you'll see the results will always be similar, same. I don't like to receive gifts only ice cream, I love to give, even in detailing I work with different people, always they get gifts like detailing baskets to take care of car later, oil, gasoline additives, such things.
I wrote here a bit of my thoughts as this is really not an advert to use products that I do but to show how I did it & with what.
I don't represent any car care company or a shop, secret organization, government, sect, religion & way of life as my style is always RELAX Paul&Shark Yachting polo, jeans, cowboy boots, Swiss chronograph ...you can't learn from me anything.
This is what I have found here for matte detailing:

No, he is right, it is mounted properly. Do a search on cowl induction and read away. Here is a very short explanation:
"Cowl induction is when the back of the hood next to the windshield is open so that the engine can get access to the cool high pressure air that builds up there while driving."
I thought otherwise as well until I did some research.
