2014 Porsche Boxster detail

Had a good friend bring me his 2014 Guards Red Porsche Boxster over.

Initial inspection: Car looked pretty good. Upon closer inspection there were a LOT of swirls and some bigger scratches.

Started with a wash with SCG strip wash. Cleaned the beautiful Avante Guard wheels with Adams green wheel cleaner and cleaned the tires with Tuff Shine tire cleaner. Used speedmaster brushes and some boars hair brushes. Master blasted the car off. Clayed with medium grade nano towel. This removed a lot of paint contamination that was felt with the baggie test. After nano'ing surface felt smooth.

Did a test spot. Flex 3401. Started with Menz 4000 and an orange hyrdrotech pad. Not enough cut. Stepped up pads and it still wasn't enough. Broke out the M205 and a blue Rupes pad. That was the combo. It was removing 85% of the swirls. RIDS appear. 2nd step was with Menz 4000...finished out nicely except for some deeper scratches and some more serious RIDS.

LSP was Wolfgang Fuzion. I've had excellent results with this on Porsche's Guards Red. Gives it such a nice deep, almost tomato red appearance.

Tires/trim: Adams SVRT

Wheels: Adams Quick Sealant

Glass: Adams

Exhaust tips: HD metal polish

Interior: cleaned with DP and protected with Pinnacle Black Label conditioner.

Vacuumed: Metro
