Re: 1957 Chevrolet 210 - Paint Correction and Gloss Enhancement
Great job Merlin. I have a single stage red truck to finish. Already have reflect, might have to pick up some Adapt

Thank you...the 57' Chevy was fun! Inline 6 with 3 on the column.
I as I mentioned above I found HD Adapt to have a little less cut than M101.
I feel Meguiars M101 cuts pretty quick and finishes down pretty darn good.
I have since tried HD Adapt with base/clear & I achieved the same results.
The sweet part is no dusting, a creamy buttery feel and a longer work time.
After I posted my results I was told to try HD Adapt with a softer foam pad.
...No not to correct swirls but as a finishing polish. I have not tried that yet.
Let me know your results.

Thank you. I believe I hit on the right product combo...including the BFWD.

Since you still have to follow Adapt and M101 with an additional polishing step; is the trade-off of less cut with Adapt actually a net positive?

Depending on the paint both be adequate for a one step. I like going for that extra. I have been told that Adapt also finishes nicely with a soft foam pad.
