1994 Toyota Camry Tires Coated With DP Tire Coating

This is the 2nd set of tires coated with the new DP Tire Coating - 1994 Toyota Camry.


(This was the 1st set of tires recently coated with DP Tire Coating: New DP Tire Cleaner & Coating Review)

This was after three rounds of the new DP Tire Cleaner using a TS Tire Brush. Don't have any before pictures but the tires had remnants of a tire dressing.
White foam was noticed during the 2nd round of brushing indicating the tire was clean. I did one more round just for good measure.


Tire clean and dry and ready for the coating to be applied.


Applied the DP Tire Coating using the Carrand Tire Brush.

Before using the brush I like to brush the tips lightly with the TS Tire Brush to clean and knock off any loose particles from the feathered bristles.

Last time I poured the coating into a plastic container and then dipped the brush into the container.
This time I poured the coating directly on the brush. I like this method better because less product is wasted.


Coating being applied to the tire.


1 coat of the DP Tire Coating.


2 coats.


After 2 sets of tires (8 tires) and 2 coats on each tire, there is about 3/4 of the 4oz bottle remaining.


A little goes a long way . So far I'm impressed with the DP Tire Coating. Just need to check out the durability.

If you were to take a clean MF towel and wipe the clean tire after 3 rounds, would you get any color transfer? Or just a clean towel? Wondering because I have trouble with clean tires still giving me grayish or black, not brown, on my cleaning medium

I didn't try wiping the tires after the 3 rounds with a MF towel, I was basically looking for the white foam while brushing and also that the bristles on the Tuf Shine Brush were white also. That's usually a good indicator that the tire is clean.
