Thanks for your review.
These tire Coatings have been out for a few years:

I've been on the tire coating bandwagon for some time now, not sure what I'll be doing with my tire gels now, maybe use them on a customers tire that doesn't wanna pay extra for the "good stuff", everything truely has its place.
I've never used a brush to apply any tire product, looks interesting:thumbup:

Yeah, I know dude, I meant what manufacturers/brands might be jumping into the tire coating market this week at SEMA. But since we're already past the first day, maybe this is all we're going to see.

First, pinnacle. Then optimum. At least that's what I predict.

Opps
I would like to think AG's premium brand is soon to come out with something, especially with the name BLACK already in the name, seems like natrual to me.
Once everyone comes to market with their tire coating and its tested, reviewed its going to come down to loyalty for some, while others will stick with what works best for them and is readily available and also priced right, that's the key here. I say this because TW's system is pretty cheap, even if the tire cleaner isn't the best it comes as a complete kit and is available OTC
Competition brings out the best in everyone, let the competing begin!!

I wonder if you could do that with the Turtle Wax coating. Seems like it'd dry and become too difficult/sticky to remove from the brush.

Hmmmmm.... that's an interesting thought.
Surely a quick wash with the hose would rinse it clean.
I know with as many various *dedicated* foam applicators of all shapes, firmness, and sizes (most of which are brand new) I stopped using ALL of them since at least early last year. The TW kit comes with a foam applicator, and surely they don't intend for that to be 'one and done'.
OTOH..... The Carrand brushes are the defacto way to go.

I like using the Carrand brush for applying tire coatings such as Tuf Shine and now the DP Tire Coating. IMO, it doesn't soak up as much product and the bristles get into the nooks and crannies of the tire better than a foam applicator. A small paint brush also works well. I got the idea of using a brush from Mike Phillips, who I think got the idea from forum member Swanicyouth

This is an excerpt from Post #5 of the link above from Mike Phillips:
"To apply the TUFF SHINE Tire Clearcoat to these low profile tires on our Mercedes-Benz, I borrowed a tip that Steve aka swanicyouth shared in his write-up.
New Tires Tuff Shined !
See post #11 the first sentence.

Looks great. I firmly believe the black wheel should never be darker than the tire!
But that trim needs some work how about experimenting how this stuff works on trim? I know it's been experimented with with the TW Coating!
