Sounds like you are doing it after polishing
What is you process for cleaning polish out of the chips prior to filling?
How long do you wait before applying a coating?
The chips are filled after polishing usually. Sometimes I do it before, but you can remove the paint when polishing, so now I mostly do it afterward.
I clean the panel with DG Squeaky Clean usually and sometimes only with Eraser. The SC for sure will remove everything from the chip.
I like to have at least an hour. If I do fill it beforehand, it is usually the night before.
Hope that helps.
