    Turned this one down!

    New client who recently purchased this Benz certified by Mercedes . He called after finding me on the finest website.

    He said the car did not look as good as it should and he wanted c quartz finest. After we washed the car we went over it. Found just a few problems!

    Overspray,tape lines,heavy scratching .after measurements we found the drivers side was repainted,and the hood had been damaged.

    Evidence of filler in several areas.

    On the non repaired area the paint in some spots was almost2 mils less than the factory 4.5 on the roof.

    As Mike has said, you need to know when to walk away!

    He has a meeting with Mercedes on Thursday .

    Are all the people at this dealership blind?: This car looks absolutely horrendous!

    So the 19 is the repainted and the 4.5 is the OEM?

    Keep us updated how it goes when he goes back to Mercedes and if you hear anything. I am curious to hear what happens.

    The4.5 was the roof,the 19 was on the hood where I could get a measurement. The infi means greater than 20 mils.

    Mike they are not blind they just turn their head a little and say the Carfax is good.

    Follow up,dealer agreed to my findings,but pretty much told him tough,you bought a used car! The damage does not equal 10 percent of the value? Even though they took off to much clear to polish!
