funny thing is, he called me and asked me if I could go down and help, he said "I have a panel that needs to be polished because it got wet sanded." I said "I don't want to drive 45 mins to go work on a test panel."

Then he told me that is what the vehicle is called and that it was a classic. I had no idea it was completely sanded down lol until I got there! I thought it was going to need polishing, maybe a 3 step, but once he said classic, I hopped in my car and headed down there. Which I am glad I did.

and yes I feel very blessed that I got to work on it.

Yes it was and what made it even harder was someone else sanded the car down.

I kept trying to load up the pictures using AGO's picture album, but it didn't let me so not sure what is going on. AGO's photo album is great but it is always crashing and a drag and drop option would be awesome. AG might want to look into that.

The 36' got a 3 step, clay, compound, polish and wax. We used Meguiar's MF cutting system, pads, compounds and polishes. Then waxed with Meguiars Ultimate Wax. The vehicle was also single stage paint.

Side Note:
I haven't been switching backing plates on my Rupes 21. Works better with the 6" backing plate. That's what I've been using on most jobs pictured above. Including this one. Try it with the 6" backing plate and 6.5" pads, works just as good or even better, from what I've found.
