    Ford Fairlane

Well i finally got to detail the Fairlane with the new stuff i got a couple of weeks ago. This is the first time the car has been fully detail probaby since the paint was put on about 7-8 years ago. The paint was in good condition with just some minor swirls and
after i was finish a small bit of them were still there, but you really cant see them that well and i dont mind that they are there. In all i probably knocked out about 85% of the swirls, might have to use a heavier remover. It took me about 4 day to complete the whole car. I hope you injoy the pictures.

Wash: Two bucket method with sheep skin mitt and 3M car wash.

    Clay: Mothers Clay System

Polish:Porter Cable with Pinnacle XMT Intermediate Swirl Remover #3 with 6 in. Edge green pad.

Pinnacle XMT Ultra Fine Swirl Remover #1 with 6 in. blue pad.

Wax: Mother Carnuba Wax hand applied then buff off with Porter Cable with Microfiber bonett.

Wheels and Rims: Rims polish with just a mircofiber towel and the wheels got Armoral wheel gel.

Crome: Polished with just a mircofiber towel.

    Before:
Tapped up with about 2 rolls of blue painters tape.

I had so much tape i kept rolling it in a ball when i was finally finished polishing, and the ball was mushed down as mush as i could go.

    After all that:

I have seen many Fairlane's the two last days, there is a big am-car meeting in the same place that I am (Sunne, Sweden) I am here for a Renault meeting but cars are cars, allways fun to look at maybe I will post some pics when I get home..
