Prism Detailing - Lamborghini Aventador and Gallardo Correction

Here are a few recent cars i have done some correction work on. there was no protection applied as the dealership are wanting to sell this as an additional service.

This is new Lamborghini Aventador LP-700 4.

For this car I was only taking out any defects in the paintwork from the factory. With the spotlights in the dealership, defects were easy to spot. This comprised of localised hologramming, mostly on the front end. This was rectified using Meguiars MF system via DA and the end results:





The next car is a 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo Spider.



I was asked to remove to stone chips on the bonnet (the main purpose for my visit). I was given the paint from the approved repairer for Lamborghini (which i have a close relationship with).

Im in a fortunate position to have a close relationship with an approved repair/bodyshop. They supplied the paint and clear coat.

Initially touch up the chip with paint, allow to cure, touch up again to layer, then cure, then apply the clear coat, again cure, then 2000 meguiars sanding paper, then 3000 then onto rotary with Chemical Guys Orange Pad and Scholls Concept S3 Gold, followed by DA with Meguiars MF pad and compound for polishing and refining.

So basically the usual process then... It just looks so good! I can't fault the finished product. Did it look that good in real life or couldn't your iphone capture it?

I've never been able to get results like that when repairing stone chips.. I mean I can get it maybe 95%, but you can still see the chip if you know where to look...
