Vehicle Interiors Need Love Too! - Absolute Perfection Auto Detailing
Absolute Perfection Auto Detailing had a 2000 GMC Sierra in on Saturday for our Full Detail package. The exterior received a wash, clay, and sealant before the interior was addressed.
The vehicle belongs to a smoker and has over 300k miles on the clock. That is a lot of smoking and the interior proved it. Due to health issues, the owner is being forced to quit smoking and his family wanted to treat him to a cleaned up vehicle.
Here is the truck after the exterior was cleaned and protected.
The interior took over 2 and a half hours. Armed with a PowerFlite vacuum, brushes, air compressor gun, McCullough steamer, Megs APC+, and a LOT of microfiber towel, I went at it!
These pictures show a huge transformation of the interior.
The seats were not supposed to be brown! APC+ and a microfiber wrapped around the steamer head worked wonders on these seats.
The driver's door cleaned up well!
Passenger rear door, much improved!
Remember! Interiors need love too!
Check out my page on Facebook and "like" it to keep up with the work I do!
Thank you for looking!

Does it still stink?
I have had several cars that had incredible levels of tobacco funk that took forever to remove.
I steamed, and extracted all the fabric in the car. including the headliners and they still smelled like an ashtray. I had to use a foaming duct cleaner and leave my ozone generator inside the car for a full day. TWICE!
The previous owner had been a many pack a day smoker and after his cigs burned down he would put them out then toss them onto the carpet.
Grosser that cleaning a kiddy barf mom mobile.

I was wondering if you were able to take care of the odors from the smoke on all of the surfaces? You did not state if you used an ozone generator, and judging by the pictures, he smoked a lot inside the car.
