Black Porsche Panamera 4S Paint Correction:

Porsche is known for having some pretty finicky paint. Seeing the condition of this black Panamera i can fully understand why! In total I put 26 hours into this car 4 hours for the Decon and interior then 22 full hours polishing the paint as close to perfection as i could in the time frame.

That said 90-95% correction was achieved.

With the recent rain showers here in SoCal and this car being a Daily the exterior was in pretty rough shape with plenty of road dirt covering the exterior and caked on brake dust covering the rims.

The paint has seen better days. Plenty of swirl marks, DEEP rids and dealer/scratch repair man installed holograms.

Front fenders both had pretty bad buffer trails.

Started the Decon process by first cleaning the large 6 piston brakes up front. These things are dusty and required two separate application of Sonax.

Moved onto cleaning the body of the vehicle. This received a citrus based wash via a foam gun followed by a thorough two bucket wash.

The defects are much more apparent now that the dirt has been removed from the paint, here's an example of what i had to deal with on this car.

Both:

Pulled the car inside to start the polish prep(Clay bar, IPA wipedown, Taping)

Defects under the halogens/LED:

After i documented the defects and took 624 pictures i decided it was finally time to start polishing.

After two steps:

Front fender gave good 50/50 shots

So did the door....

Removing holograms from the front bumper. Luckily the fenders corrected out pretty easily.

That's a protein muffin BTW. 14g protein per muffin!

Done for the night at 11PM i started on the interior

5 point harness baby seat, dude isn't messing around.

Day 2: 6am started polishing out rear half of vehicle

Taillights WERE Jack3d!

Pulled the car outside for sun shots midway through step number 2 to check out the progress... And to hear the startup exhaust not once more

One more step of polishing then everything was tidied up and LSP was applied.

Those cars are beautiful and yes I agree those paints are so easy to scratch. Great save on a beautiful car. I am surprised the owner didn't decide to use a ceramic protection, it would probably have been the right call after all the hard work that you put into it.
