Premier Auto Detailing by Evan: 2014 Mini Cooper S Countryman Opti-Coated

Up for a detail this past weekend was a brand new Mini Cooper Countryman. The condition of the paint was not bad at all a few light swirls and a few isolated scratches but nothing drastic.

Here was the plan of attack:

Exterior:

Wheels:

• Wheels cleaned 1Z Colour Tec Wheel cleaner
• Tires cleaned with Meguiar's Non Acidic Wheel and tire cleaner
• Wheel wells cleaned with Meguiar's APC+

Paint:

• Washed the exterior with CG Wash and Clear Red
• All paint was decontaminated with Speedy Prep towel fine grade
• Paint was polished with Meguiar's M205 with BnS polishing pad via the Rupes 21
• Paint was then cleaned with CarPro Eraser
• Opti-Coat was applied to all exterior surfaces excluding glass
• Glass was coated with Gtechniq G1
