SpeedFreak Detailed: 1941 Willy's Hot Rod paint correction
This client owns a large stable of old custom hot rods, including the black '57 Corvette I posted a little while back. This all steel '41 Willy's was in pretty good shape save for one area that needed compounding. Other than that the goal was to remove light imperfections and substantially punch up the gloss. The billet wheels and engine were all hand polished as well to bring back the brilliant shine.
Products used:
- CG Citrus Wash
- Clay Magic Blue clay
- DoDo Juice Born Slippery clay lube
- M105 on LC PFW pad via FLEX 3401
- Menzerna SF4500 on LC Grey pad via FLEX 3401
- Optimum metal polish
- Sonax glass cleaner
- Pinnacle Souveran paste wax
- Adam's Super VRT
