This car belongs to my next door neighbour. I detailed it 2 years ago in July of 2011 HERE. It now needed to be done again. This car I feature on my website for showing the durability of the OG after one year. I made another video showing it after 2 years after I had washed it (hopefully I will get that posted up soon). Unfortunately, every panel had some kind of mark on it, so the whole car got compounded and polished with a new coat of OG on it. The front bumper had been wrapped in a clear bra and had sustained a large scuff to it. I was able to really improve upon it, but not completely remove it. I had never tried buffing a scuff out of a clear bra before. In fact, I polished the entire clear bra area on the front of the car with great success. It also got coated. Here it is as it arrived to me.
One more thing. We have our good days and we have our bad days. This car came to me on an awful day. It was Day #2 for the "Headcold from Hell" and I was really suffering doing this car. It physically took a lot out of me. I'm still far from over this damned cold!! OK, on to the car..

The Scuff:

This car had staining in the paint (coating) from the mirror dripping down. I was very disappointed to see the OG did not protect against this!

This was an Inside and Out job:

First up was the wash/decontamination stage. It first got foamed with a strong mix of DG 901 and Megs Hyper Wash.

That was followed by a wash with DG 901. I followed that step with an additional wash with IronX soap gel applied directly to a grout sponge. It was brought inside wet and the wheels were blown dry with my Master Blaster. The paint (excluding the clear bra) and glass got clayed with the CarPro clay block and dried. Now it was time to see what was waiting for me on the paint:

Scratches-Yikes!
