Great work, why do you do the wheels before washing?

Firstly, thank you to all of you for your kind words. I truly do appreciate it

The reason for this is that the wheels are usually the dirtiest part of the car and when cleaning them with something like the Daytona wheel brush, the likelihood of then splashing dirt onto the car during cleaning is quite high.

As such, I would rather wash them first and then any dirt that may have been splashed onto the paintwork will get cleaned off during the wash.

I remember reading somewhere on here (can't quite remember where) a post by Mike Phillips stating the importance of not working backwards. I really took that to heart and try to ensure that my process never includes 1 step forward and 2 back, so I usually work from dirty wheels, through door shuts etc, then the engine bay and only then commence with washing the actual car itself.
