I can finally make a thread of a full job :bananas: Any comments, feedback, advice would be greatly appreciated
As an early Father's Day present, I decided to show my folks what it is that I do and restore that shine to my dad's CRV.
Quick history on the car: It's outside 24-7 and has only gotten washes whenever it had maintenance done to it (dealership machine wash). So it has been exposed to the hot Hawaiian sun and elements for a little over 5 years. I've always offered to take care of his car but it wasn't until I had done my mom's (which was her Mother's Day gift, another thread to make soon) that he said, "Sure".
I did a 3-step job. Forgive me as it was my first attempt to do a job while taking pictures throughout the process. I have omitted care to the headlights as I'm saving that for later down the road.
And to the specs:
Clean:
Dawn-soap Wash (2x, pre and after polish)

Meg's OTC Clay w/TW RR diluted to a QD
Meg's Wheel Brightener w/Meg's brush and Wheel Woolies

Pinnacle APC (1:5) to clean trim
Correct:
Flex 3401
Meg's UC
Meg's UP
Klass AIO
Dress/Protect:
BF WDAPP (body)
Mother's B2B (trim)
Meg's Tire Shine (tire)

And here we go with the pictures:
General look before washing:
The grime caked up on the plates being behind a frame all this time:
And here's some sun-shots post washing:
Behind the plate:
And also, the engine (which wasn't even 1/10th the condition of my mom's engine):
