    Detail: Jeep Rubicon

Hey guys. Just now getting around to posting up some work. This fella owns the GT-R and 300 I posted up a little while ago. I ended up correcting all three of his toys and Opticoating (pro version) them.

    Exterior:
    • Chemical Guys Citrus Wash (twice) Once after polishing
    • Speedy Prep towel medium
    • Wheels/barrels were hit with CG Diablo wheel gel & various brushes
    • Wheel wells and rubber were hit with APC 5:1 & various brushes
    • Tires dressed with Show Room FX White Pearl
    • Wells treated with CG Bare Bones
    • D300 Meguiars MF cutting
    • M205 LC Black Foam
    • Car Pro Eraser for my OCD-ness
    • Green Magic for exhaust/stainless
    • Optimum Opti-Coat Pro
And now on to the pics

I loved working on this thing!
    Upon arrival

    Yep, she was pretty dirty

Some hard water spotting to be removed

    Gone:

    Some fine marring

    Undercarriage looking proper:

    Another:

Opticoat (pro version) being applied to the roof. Every inch of this thing was protected:

Before any dressing checking the work in the sun:

    Questions/comments welcome.

    Enjoy

Those suspension setup is sick. I bet it does well off road.

My gf just got a new jeep, I haven't polished it yet, just put some sealant on. Was the paint on the harder or softer side?

in my experience jeeps clear tends to be somewhat hard, i have a 2006liberty, i would reccomend optimum compound II and polish II, i polished almost 3 years ago and its still around 90% swirl free, farecla products (g3 and g10) also worked well on my paint. i think i might try menzerna products once i run out of what i have currently.

that rubicon came out awesome i wish the previous owner of my liberty had taken better care of it, 3 years in upstate new york winters combined with neglect did not do it any good.

He said it's definitely fun off road and holds her own for sure!

The clear wasn't that bad actually. Only a hand full of spots needed to be hit with D300.

Thanks, Chris! I wish a lot of folks took care of their cars better as well. But then again, maybe I'm secretly glad.

Thank ya! I would love to have one of these but, honestly, I wouldn't use it for the purpose I'm sure.
