    Detailed: 2006 Black Chevy Colorado

I detailed my wife's black 2006 Colorado today. It doesn't get babied much and had some swirls (from my pre-AG days) and some bad hard water spots on the paint. The full detail inside and out took about 6 hours.

    Process:
    Interior (no pictures):
-Cleaned floor mats with Simple Green 1:1 and stiff brush
-Wiped down all plastic with Meguiars Vinyl and Rubber Protectant
    -Vacuumed floors and seats
-Cleaned glass with Armor-All glass cleaner

    Exterior:
-Cleaned tires and wheels with Simple Green
-Wash with O'Reillys wash, two bucket method
-Clay with Meguiars clay and QD.
    -Masked off plastic trim
-OC with orange pad on hood
-OP with white pad on whole truck
-OPS with gray pad on whole truck
-Cleaned exterior glass with Armor-All glass cleaner
-Dressed tires with some old DuPont Teflon Tire Shine I had.
-Dressed the tonneau cover with Meguiars Rubber and Vinyl Protectant
-OS on all paint, trim, and glass
    -Final buff with microfiber towel

    Before on hood:

    After on hood:

I really like the OS on the black matte trim. It brought the color back to like new, and hopefully it will last longer then the trim dressing I have that only lasts until the first rain.

I also lined up my first paid detail with my neighbor today. I should be doing his Dodge Ram next weekend.

Awesome job! Love the before and after pics of the hood. I'm thinking about using OS after DG#271 on my truck.

Looks really good, I too like the before then after pictures.

Oh by the way I like your write up, very nice.

I like how you used the Optimum line up, very nice. Question what machine did you use? PC or rotary?

thanks for sharing, with results like that I'm sure you would be getting more people interested on having you detail there cars.
