    2008 Chevrolet Avalanche

Well this is my first go at machine polishing, turned out pretty good! Next up is my wifes 2010 Chevrolet Equinox.

No good pictures yet, it's snowing and my truck is not leaving the garage.

    Products used -
    Griots soap and Griots clay
    Poorboys SSR2.5 w/ orange pad
    Poorboys SSR1 w/ white pad
Chemical Guys blacklight w/ blue pad
    Chemical Guys V7 spray sealant

    Before -

    After -

Here's a 50/50, you can see the square I taped off to test an area first. This is only after the polishes, no wax yet.

One question, there are still a few deeper scratches that did not come out. Do y'all think I need a more aggressive product or do I just need to refine my skills?

If your fingernail catches on the scratches, they're too deep and need more than just polishing. If its a daily driver and I were you, I'd be happy if 90% of the car looked like your "after shot". Gotta remember, the more aggressive you go, the more clear you remove, and if its a dd, it's gonna take abuse. Give it a polish, get it looking good, then maintain it. I wouldn't spend too much time worrying about those deeper scratches. Chances are only you know they're there. Looks good though!
