    Cool 350z saturday help

Well, the photos can speak for the best.

The focus was on the body paint, minus the rear bumper which was a replacement panel appeared to be a rattle can paint job.

The owner wanted to take care of his car, but didnt have any experience in correction or proper wash technique or products to be used. From what I was told, multiple coats of wax were applied and show in the first photo. *DCS_0009*

We stripped the wax with chemical guys bug & tar, then hit it a second time with a mix of OPC in the foam cannon. After the IPA wipe, I snapped a few more photos and have DCS_0032 that shows the paint after the strip.

Griots 3" with orange and yellow
Most of the car was a 1 step with M105
I did a few places with M205 and then PO85RD.
    Topped with BFWD.

The majority of the work was completed by the owner. I worked the drivers front quarter to find the right pad/polish combo, then worked with him on how to use a DA on the drivers door. The entire process was a how to, and a few short cuts were taken, as this was a freebie for a friend. Total time was 6 hours.

I've recommended a rinse-less wash product, assortment of microfiber towels and microfiber detergent to be purchased to help maintain the car. I'm thinking those will be ordered from the owner in the next few weeks.

Looking good! It's always nice when you can get a car owner to see what's involved, to participate and then add to their own car care skill set. Well done!
