Good write up and your IS looks great.
I have one question, that you and others may be able to answer (it may just be an opinioun type anwser). When you compare the various coatings, i.e. 22ple, opticoat 2.0, C.Quarts, and Gtenchniq. With all things considered, these products are very similar in their purpose, however, OptiCoat is a perminmant coating. Why use any other product?

According to opticoat.... "you can expect it to last for years". I'm not sure how many years that means, but all things considered I wouldn't be the greatest judge between any of the other coatings since I have limited knowledge of any of them.
Thanks!

I'm hopeful that they will stay that way. I've already found a scratch on the hood, no idea what from, so this stuff definitely isn't bullet proof. We'll see if it remains swirl free.

I think "game changer" may be a bit much as well. It is easier to apply then Opti-Guard but CQF is just as easy, if not easier as 22ple is pretty oily. However CQF suggest doing 2 coats so it does take longer than 22ple....both are simple to use. I currently have several test panels set up with various testing being done (OG, 22ple, CQF and one with Hard Body on it too). I'll reserve judgement until testing is complete but I will say CQF richens/darkens the paint the most and sheets away water noticeably faster than OG/22ple.

I look forward to trying CQF once the 22PLE has diminished. I was simply quoting another person's review from the DI blog, as I personally cannot compare these product as I have had minimal exposure to the other competitors. Thanks for the input though!
