$480,000 of Pure Polished Bliss>Pic Intensive

Well with the weather absolutely beautiful on the East Coast I had the chance to do a detail on a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. Pure sex on wheels. The car was in pretty decent shape but had tons of marring. I was able to remove about 90% of them. The car had a clear bra which proved to be a major PITA since the previous detailer had wax caked in the clear bra line.

    Total detail time=7.5 hours

Wash with Duragloss 901 via foam gun (Thanks Al !!!! )
Wheels cleaned with P21S wheel cleaner
OP/OC mix via PC with orange pad
Pink Moose via PC and Megs 8006 pad
    Megs #26
Tire dressed with Eagle One Wet
Glass cleaned with NXT Glass Cleaner
Engine dressed with Stoners Trim Shine
Interior wiped down with Megs ID
Leather dressed with Four Star Leather conditioner
Megs Plastix on all carbon fiber trim and engine pieces

I was just driving home in my Lambo and an old guy about 70 pulled up next to me at a red light in a silver Carrera GT. He smiles at me and says nice car. I smiled back and yea you to. I hope when I'm about 70 I'm still out driving sports cars. I love everything about it the Carrera GT except the interior. Looks great Pat!

In the pictures it looks like he replaced the stock wooden shift noob with a carbon fiber one. The car is so high tech the wooden one really looks out of place in my opinion.

previously I had never noted the different colored wheel centers on these machines. Ones side is red, the other is blue.

Very observant! I had to scroll back up and check that out. How peculiar.

Yeah Scott...Its a one lug setup. The owner said the lug had to be torque to like 400 ft pounds or something.
