    Definitely a good thing to check before hand. Lol

    I knew that truck had to be close to 8ft, so either you were cutting it close or you had some big doors.

    Does anyone know if this is just surface oxidation on chrome and can be polished out or if this is the chrome actually being worn away??

    Looks like surface oxidation. Should polish out. I dealt with something similar last weekend.

    Here are some pictures from today so far... decontamination day:
    I have spent 2.5 hours decontaminating the paint & glass using the CarPro PolyShave Decon Pad and PolyShave Decon Block. And I'm only about halfway done. Here are some pictures:





    Decon Block for the smaller bits, works much faster than clay!


    So, even with more efficient time saving tools I will still probably spend about 4 hours total on decon. This should give you some idea on how rough this paint is...
