For All You Hacks Out There...Thank$$$
I was busy working on a small punch list that was to occupy most of my week end. Wire cup rust removal, prime, paint rear stair well, power wash steps and landing, wall, retaining wall, and brick pavers.
As I was talking to the owner, his brother drove up and after a few cordialities, he inquired of his brother to loan him his Infinity, as he had a Booty Call in Jersey scheduled later that day, and his car was a mess.
The owner played him off and told him that he was in the right place at the right time - and introduced me as the detailer that he had mentioned previously.
This is what I saw after walking around front:
The only kicker is that he had to have the car back by three pm
if he was to make his Booty Call in New Jersey on time.
As he parked in my drive, I went inside the house a snapped this pic, then brought out my gear:
MEMO: learn to printscreen iPhone.
OCW, ONR, OTS and OPS are not visible in the photo, but was used :
Approximately 4 hours and 20 minutes later:
Optimum Tire Shine is the bomb...Wet Look and Dry To The Touch 10-04
Are there still swirls and rids?
you betcha...whadda you expect for 4.5 hours on a daily driver
Cleaned the windows in/out as I waitind for the vehicle owner to finish shaving and getting ready for his trip.
Thank you hack detailers for the two bills today, and for the buck and a half that coming later next week for the interior, quick wash and OOS, and headlight resto.

I certainly hope so...he was dressed to the nines and smelling like a new Orleans madam as he drove me back to the house.
Interior was in rough shape, not trashed, but filthy. Maybe 2 - 2.5 hours to bring back.

-I'm pretty sure this customer really appreciated your assistance getting
him out one tight spot; and, hopefully, into another.
-I'll never forget how I used to sing along with this
heart-warming song on my way to some "calls-of-the-wild":

It reminds me of the commercial where a hair salon sets up shop and is charging $15 bucks for a haircut. Then another shop sets up across the street advertising $5 haircuts. The first shop owner thinks about it for a second and then puts up a sign that says "We fix $5 haircuts". I get quite a bit of work repairing the best efforts of resident hacks in my neck of the woods too. They are definitely good for business. Great work on that repair job!

Man I love this song. I had to sign in to add it to my watch later list.
She kept saying
"I've never really done this kind of thing before, have you"
Third rate romance
Low rent rendezvous
And he said, "Yes I have
But only a time or two"
Too cool...old school players, they'd be.

Hack jobs are abundant here. The bad thing is that once people get ripped a new one...they tend to become gun (buffer) shy. This guy drove around for a year with the car looking like this...rarely ever washed it.
