Just finished completing this today. My mate picked this car up about 3 days ago and he bought it to me to detail and seal it for him.

My plan of attack was:

Foam gun, rinse
Dish soap (to remove any wax the dealer may have applied)
Rinse, dry
Clay bar, dry
Polish with Menzerna SF4500 with orange Hydro pad on speed 4
WGDGPS (also did the glass roof and the rims with this)

Tomorrow I'm going to put a coat of Pinnacle Signature Series 2 wax on, and finish it off after that with some DG Aquawax.

Not much point with before pictures - the paint was in good condition, the car was just dirty with bird poo etc on it.

It's a really beautiful paint. The pictures don't quite show it, but it's got a green metallic through it, kinda like Lexus white.

End result...

Nice looking car. Does the white have metallic in it? Kia has a white that looks great and it's got a lot of metallic.

I really like the looks of that car. My mom has a Sonata and Hyundai has really made some nice cars and the price isn't bad at all for all you get.

He let me take it for a drive before he left it with me. Goes really well. We have a 2012 Polo GTi and I'd say it has the same sort of punch. Rides pretty firm, but handles pretty well and has so many features.

Has a green metallic through it. Have a look at the pic of the side of the car and enlarge it to full size, you can see the speckles there.
