Thanx man! After 200 man hours I quit calculating lol...... A few things threw us off schedule such as: removing the clear was a major pain..... and apparently after '83 the alloy is much denser .... which made it hard to cut into. Learned ALOT from this job, and can't wait to do the next Airstream

As in how to refine your method/products?
Or, maybe going rouge?
Did you use the wool pads suggested by Joe?
Did you use the flour trick?

Method : Strip every single inch of clear coat in day one! Leaving any behind poses an issue later on.
Products - no issues at all ..... I stick by Nuvite products
Going Rouge? - Not sure what that means?!?!?!
Wool Pads - I used those available to me on the spot - May make it easier next time around to use the one's Joe suggested, but I used what I had to work with this time around.
Flour trick - not this time...... cleaned up the black residue with IPA and foaming glass cleaner - the same I always used on aircraft leading edges.

Just wondering. Everybody has a particular method.
Excellent results as usual.
Rouge is the brick that almost broke your shin...as you stated several months ago.
I use corn starch instead of flour and have used diesel in the past. Will have to try your method just for kicks. Thanks.
Enjoy your weekend.

LOL - crazy you remember that! Yep, my ankle still hurts if the kids put pressure on it :/ Didn't go that route this time around - spread the product evenly with the makita - no grinder (except on the window linings, but still used nuvite for that). Thanx for the compliment

Last comment and I'm out...
Not a fan of aluminum polishes, but after seeing your dedication to NuVite, I'm going to have to make a purchase.
Heck, If I can buy AmorAll, then aluminum polish isn't that far of a stretch.
Happy detailing...

Looks good. I've heard those airstreamms are worth some serious coin and no doubt you just added more value.
