    Thumbs up 2008 Mercury Milan

Hey everyone. For my second full detail or as I call it "The Full Monty" I had another challenge mainly on the interior. Let the pics speak for themselves. This was badly needed to increase the value as it will be listed for sale with 99K miles. I think I took off about 50K-60K miles..

I had two vehicles to do over my Independence Week off. 2003 CR-V (coming in another thread) and this Mercury.

    Before

    Degreased and blown dry

    Dressed

    Trunk Before

Spare tire and jack were unsecured. So me being the perfectionist. I pulled the trunk carpet cleaned the well, mounted everything properly and even scrubbed the tire

    During

    Done

    Before:

    During

    50/50 Rear floormat

    50/50

    Before

    After, thanks Folex

    50/50

    Before

After 3 tanks, I called the owner and they said to move on.

    50/50

After 5 tanks. I Folex'd the spot under the gas pedal

    Passenger floorboard before

    After

    50/50 Drivers door panel

Exterior time. I wanted to get a jump on the wheels and it was getting dark fast. They live on a dirt road all were like this.

    8:30PM

Next morning, touch up wheels again and start the wash

Amazing job on the interior. Did you use the LGM on the headliner as well?

Yep, I had some streaks and small stains in a few places. Tidied it up with a MF cloth and Folex. I admit I was a little nervous once it dried it was great!

Thanks! That was the first job going from the old school WaxMaster orbital to my new PC. A little more practice and things should improve..

Great job, Joe! Could you give a breakdown on the tools, products, and your process on the carpets, upholstery and headliner? I'll be honest, I want to replicate what you're doing.
