I would think the only way to do this would be to open the lights, clean/polish them, and then reseal them. To me it seems like more trouble that it's worth, but who knows. You would have to charge more than a normal headlight correction, that's for sure.

I tried doing a test of that a few months back. I had replaced the headlights in my Porsche and thought I would try to correct the inside of the old lights. They were sealed, as alot of cars are nowadays. I baked them in the oven and opened them up. I will skip the gory details but it just isn't worth the hassle!

Right, I've don'e HID retrofits where oyu have to open up the lights, and it's no fun at all. Not tomention you have to remove them from the vehicles which in itself can be a huge PITA sometimes...for me

We looked at it a few years ago. I don't think it's practical. It's not hard to open up the headlight, (oven) but getting it to seal again is another matter. You don't know what sealant was used, so you can't simply apply more sealant. Also, headlight must be removed, and when re-installed, may need alignment.

Another issue is that long term water exposure damages reflective surfaces and doen't clean up well.

And if they are not projector HID headlights you will probably scratch the vacuum deposited chrome of the reflector. Impossible to clean. Anything touching it will scratch it. At least all the ones I have taken apart in the past did. But that was long ago in the early 90's.
