    John Deere Detail

I had nothing better to do caution I did not care about the swirls on this job, and focused on the shine of the plastic. I did everything by hand I used Ultimate compound, and vista wax, topped with 50 year old blue coral.

Utlimate did a nice job on the swirls. It seemed to finish well too.

    Nice results!
I just finished this Kabota hood using UC. Finished off with 205. I used a PC, still quite a bit of defects but the gloss is 110% better. First time polishing molded plastic.

Nice job. Now i can show my wife this thread to prove to her i'm not the only one out there who details their lawn tractor. I polished mine out with m105 then topped it with collinite 845 about a month ago before storing it for the winter.

    Re: John Deere Detail

my shop has a contract with 2 local hospitals and a local horse track/casino and they each use several john deere gators and tractors. we always use a standard compound/polish/wax combo on them and they come out looking brand new. meguiars would work fine. we use a rotary buffer. and I also do this with my own mower and tractor as well. results are great.
