SpeedFreak Detailed: Nicklas Backstrom's Blk '09 SL63 AMG

Been a while since I posted a detail, getting a bit backed up so here is one from a month or so ago. The owner of Designo Motoring in Sterling, VA has a lot of athlete clientele from the Redskins, Capitals, and Wizards sports teams. I'm a huge NHL/Caps fan so when he asked me to perform a correction on Nick Backstrom's black SL63 AMG I was stoked! It had apparently been vandalized and was in pretty bad shape. Some of the scratches were too deep to remove, so they remain. I was VERY pressed for time so I didn't get to take many pictures. The car had your typical heavy swirling, RIDS, and some deep scratches on the front bumper, and door.

That is awesome! I love the NHL too, so I can imagine how cool it is to work on his cars. The car looks great too, not to forget about that! Did you deal with him directly, and if so did he get you any cool memorabilia?

Wow. How bad was the paint that you had to use 105 with PFW?

Great job and very cool that you get to work on an NHL player's car but you need to take his license plate number out of the photos. The right dishonest person could do some damage with that info.
