    1974 Mazda RX-4 Wagon

I'll update this as I make progress.

    Eddie's Mazda RX-4 Wagon

This is Eddie's wagon. It's rare. It's old school...and it has 18,000 miles. It also has RIDS, nasty oxidation, etching, and everything else imaginable. I won't be able to get it perfect, but it'll at least be shiny again. This is what I'm working with:

Here's a couple 50/50 teasers to hold you over until tomorrow, I did 25% of the hood.

Thanks. I have an unhealthy love for wagons and japanese classics, so I've been looking forward to working on this car. It's the only RX-4 I've seen in person.

    Went with M105 + M205, and we'll be using Opti-coat when I'm done.

She's looking great! I had a 87 RX-7 for years that I loved!! Still hoping to get a 3rd generation RX-7 some day. That's one cool wagon.

Sweet, nice retro wagon. That paint looks terrible, but if you can get the same results you got on that small section of the hood on the entire car its going to look great!

Love these old pre-clear coat cars... that's real paint you're working on... enjoy it...

    As for this comment...

Years ago I wrote an article just for this type of car...

"Taking your car's paint to it's maximum potential"

Don't know if you took a hood shot "before" you did any polishing work but this article talks about this topic...

The power in the after shots is created in the before shots

Cool project and it looks like you know what you're doing...
