    Mustang Interior Mold/Mildew

    Mustang Interior

I haven’t been taking many pictures of recent jobs because it slows me down so much. But with this interior, there was no way I wasn’t going to snap a few pictures.

The whole interior, every inch, was treated with a product to treat and remove mold/mildew (purchased locally). After that was done, the interior was cleaned again using Meg APC. Once that was done, the interior was treated again with Meg #40. Many brushes were used throughout the process to help get into any cracks/crevices. A carpet brush attachment was also used on a Griots DA to speed things up. The carpet was replaced before getting to the car so no extraction was done to remove mildew from carpets, as there was none in the new carpet.

No work was done to the exterior of this Mustang.

Not sure of the cause of the mildew. All of the door seals, convertible top, carpet and some other pieces were all new. So my guess is a leak somewhere, not sure though.

MoldSTAT and Orange Solv were used to treat the mold.

    Thanks guys!

Wow! Great job with this interior! I would put this on you're website when you have the chance. They are some great before and afters. I am sure it would appeal to some customers.

You did a great job on that Mustang. Was that car a flood victim?

Thanks guys. I dont think this car was a flood victim.

Gloves were worn but no mask. I know I should have been I didnt. Thankfully it was a drop top and I worked with the top down to air it out.
