Yes I wore a mask and gloves and ensured that I had long sleeves and jeans on.
If I had known the issue was as bad as it was I probably would have got a hazmat suit! But having sat in traffic for 2 hours to get to the site, I used what I had with me.
What a save! I'm curious as to whether the mold will return after time.
It's going to return without a doubt. He needs to pull everything from the vehicle (door panels, head liner, carpet, carpet padding etc). I guarantee all of those items have mold on the side I couldn't clean. I informed the owner of this and he said he's going to start right away at tearing apart the inside. If he actually starts on it who knows, it's starting to finally get a little cold here, so I don't know if he is going to tackle it. But I basically informed him if he doesn't get the stuff out and cleaned up the car will look that way again in no time.
