    Quick hood test

I got bored an decided to test out some stuff on a panel of my hood. I already had wax on the hood so I proceeded as follows.

    10% IPA wipe down
clayed with the help of Megs QD
LC CCS Orange pad and megs UC
LC CCS White pad and Swirl X
LC CCS Red pad and NXT 2.0 liquid

All done with the handy PCXP 7424.

I am very impressed at how well this over the counter stuff works. It left my paint absolutely perfect. And I did have some pretty decent swirls when I started. Sadly no before pics because I forgot.

Awesome looking! This shows that OTC products can give you great results when some people think they are not enough. Is this your first time using the PC?

No, I have had a PC for almost a year, and actually just started working as a detailer, so I like to continually try new combos on my days off. We have the DA Microfiber system at work, and at home I normally use 105/205. Just like to change it up a bit from time to time.

I see. Always good to find new combos that give great results.
