Re: 1998 Black Honda Prelude
I think it looks great! How you like black Honda paint? Fun, huh? I think you did a great job! Some scratches and especially etchings just won't come out. I have a bunch of bug etching on my front bumper that I am stuck with but at least it's shiny bug etching. I know how you feel, you want it to be perfect, I get that way too. We just have to remember what Mike says "take your paint to it's maximum potential". Not every car will look like a show car. Again, Great job with a not so easy paint to work with!

Black is not a color, it's a part time job!

Nothing more beautiful than a freshly polished black vehicle.

The best thing about polishing a car is you learn something new every time, and implement it in your next detail.
Thanks Nick - and it is true, I got to use my PC again and getting better at polishing! I loved doing it, wanted to get more experience! Oh by the way - My CYAN pad is TOAST!

Well, he told me he got it repainted 10 years ago - so I do not know if it was Honda paint or not. But I think the clear on the car was tough.

Black cars are always harder to correct, looks like you got the job done. Good job
