This car was severely oxidized when i got as it had been sitting outside in the sun for quite a while. I washed the car with meguiars gold class dried it and used meguiars smooth surface clay kit, I then proceeded using my rotary with a dynabrade attachment Lake country 5" backing plate and and 5.5" orange pad

well i used meguiars ultimate compound on orange pad it took about 2-3 passes each section to get to where i was happy with the results....

and dr oldz what I did was I found that applying any wax or polish after the ultimate compound stage made it dull again until I applied meguiars number 7 again by hand letting it soak in and removed it

thanks if it wasn't for you taking your time teaching me how to properly detail it would not have happened....by the way ever finish that one vette i am dieing to see pictures of it
