Agreed...lighting is crucial. I have 6 sets and can fully detail all night long with the doors closed. Heated, 4" slope for water run off, water faucet inside, insulated doors, custom 8' doors (just so my truck will fit) and just installed a 62" 9,500cfm ceiling fan today! Can't wait to try it out.

The most important component is lighting. I installed 8 T8 duals. Amazing difference. My next upgrade will be installing a split unit Heat Pump.

I'm planning on putting some of those T8s in my tiny single car garage. I live in an apartment complex and we all have garages. Any idea how many of those T8 strips can safely go into a single plug outlet? As I'm planning on getting one of those adapters that lets you replace the bulb with an outlet. I can't do to much modification as I rent. I figured this way they will work with the regular light switch.

Some very nice garage pics in here, makes me jealous!! I really need to get working on mine. The previous owner put up drywall but the tape and mud job is terrible. I need to fix that, repaint, insulate the attic space above plus my door. Did some additional lighting over the winter but I need at least 2 more fixtures along the sides near the outer walls. No pics as of right now......
