    Meguiar's APC + 303 Protectant Magic

    Hi all,

Did the engine bay on a Honda CRV this weekend - my first one with the products mentioned in the title and following instructions on other posts in this forum. Wow!

Don't have a before picture but the car is two years old and the engine had never been done - it was grimy! Sprayed the APC on at 10:1 then agitated with a paint brush. Hosed off, started the car and let it run for a few minutes then finished drying with blown air with my shop-vac in reverse with a small nozzle. Sprayed the 303 on and let it sit for a while then toweled it dry.

    Here's the after:

    Best,

    Jose

Thanks! No I didn't, but I rinsed with a low pressure fan setting on the hose.

10:1 eh? I guess if it works, no need waste any more APC. I have the APC+ and I love it, I use it at 4:1 to clean literally EVERYTHING. But I might diluite it even more now!

    Good work!

Well I recently purchased APC+, just because what I read here about it. I used it for my first cleaning (@ 6:1) and it was the leather seat in my daily driver... took some elbow effort but did decent job. It wasn't the APC+ issue - the seat had ~8 yrs of collected dust... love this product.. I'll be using the APC+ for doing the wheel and may be engine later....

    BTW nice work with engine...
